A free back-test on a claim you've already filed
The fairest way to judge an evidence tool is against a claim you know inside out. Send us one project, and compare our evidence pack with what you submitted.
Who it's for
UK R&D tax advisers and accountancy firms that prepare software or digital product claims. The project should come from a claim that's already been filed. One that HMRC asked questions about is ideal, because you'll know exactly which evidence mattered.
What you send
- The ticket history for the project's period, exported from Jira or Azure DevOps, including comments and dates
- Any specifications, design notes or test reports in Word or Excel
- The accounting period, and anything you want us to know
Anonymise it if you prefer. Placeholder names for the client, product and staff work fine. Don't send us your filed narrative until after you've seen the pack, so the comparison is blind.
What you get back
- An evidence pack for the project: baseline, uncertainties, attempts and outcomes, each statement with its dated source
- Work excluded as routine, with reasons
- The questions we'd have put to the engineers
- A source index
- A note of which steps were automated and which were checked by hand during the pilot
What we ask in return
A 30-minute call to tell us what was useful, wrong or missing, and roughly how long the same evidence took you originally. With your permission we'll use the anonymised findings, never client details, to improve the product and to publish honest results.
How your client's data is protected
- A mutual non-disclosure agreement before anything is shared
- A UK GDPR Article 28 data processing agreement, with us as processor
- Processing in the EU on AWS; no model training on the material
- Source material deleted within 30 days of delivering the report, unless you ask us to keep it
- No access to the client's live systems or source code
